Reflection Interview

Hey guys !
So here is my feedback on my recorded interview that you can find down on Filip's post.

I have to say that the first approach was really difficult for me. I did not really know where to start from and how to get them into this interview. The interviews that I did apart from this specific exercise were basically with people in cafés or bars or in parks and were therefore much easier. This time I wanted to go a little bit further in the process of engaging people into this project by trying to meet people in the street. It turned out that the woman I had the pleasure to interview was from the university and could therefore do the entire interview in a calm place that we both knew. This helped me a lot since the woman I interviewed knew the place already and was feeling much more comfortable.

I think that it is very hard not to get to the point directly. By this I mean that I was constantly thinking of Fabulyzer and how I could get to this specific topic. This leads me to think that I wasn’t really listening to her but more asking my questions and get to the point as fast as possible.

However, I would say that the interview went pretty well. The interviewee was quite open to tell some personal facts. I think that the environment plays a big role since the one I interviewed before didn’t want to go very deep into these things. Doing sport and being fit is something that every man on earth would like to be. Thus, people that don’t do sport are feeling shy or even responsible and bad for not doing sport. Luckily, this woman I interviewed was really not shy to tell the truth and it helped me a lot to get to the main point, being that Fabulyzer can be a great solution.
